Robert B. DePiero
Robert Depiero is one of the founding Principals of VanRock. With over 14 years of experience in the real estate and corporate consulting world Robert excels in underwriting, acquiring, managing and disposing of real estate assets.
Prior to the creation of VanRock, Robert was the VP of Real Estate for Cenveo Corporation ("CVO"), a $2 billion printing company with over 100 facilities nationwide, where he oversaw all aspects of their 7.5 million sq. ft. real estate portfolio. Prior to joining CVO Robert was Director at Corporate Properties for three and half years where he oversaw the financial analysis, marketing, repositioning and disposition for all of CPL's client assets. Preceding Corporate Properties he worked at Marcus & Millichap as a commercial real estate broker where he participated in the underwriting, listing, negotiating, and sales of over $200 million worth of investment real estate.
In 2008, Robert obtained his Masters of Science from the New York University's Shack Institute of Real Estate, with a concentration in Finance and Investment. Additionally, he holds Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in accounting from Marist College and is currently an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
CJ Huter is one of the founding Principals of VanRock. With over 14 years in sales & leasing of commercial real estate, CJ extensive experience involves all aspects of corporate property acquisitions and dispositions, property management and construction, as well as land assemblage and development.
Prior to the creation of VanRock, CJ has been with The Goldstein Group, NJ's leading commercial real estate company based in Paramus, NJ, for over 4 years. During his time with The Goldstein Group, Mr. Huter had responsibility for negotiating and implementing transactions exceeding 2 million sq ft of retail and industrial space with an aggregate value over $300 million.
CJ also has extensive sale and lease negotiation experience with retailers such as 7-Eleven, Little Gym, LA Fitness, Entenmann's Bakery, Hostess Brands, Musclemaker Grill, Chipotle, PNC Bank, Qdoba, Hand & Stone Massage, Radio Shack, Smashburger, Dollar General, Investor Savings, Capital One Bank etc. For each of these companies, CJ was directly responsible for site selection, financial analysis, and/or lease and contract negotiations.
CJ has been a part of NYU's Real Estate School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) and received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing and Psychology from Rutgers University.
